Founded in Zurich, Switzerland, the United Table Tennis Players (UTTP) Association brings together passionate athletes under one name. With unlimited duration and a commitment to excellence, UTTP is governed by the Swiss Civil Code, creating a strong foundation for growth, unity, and achievement.

Our Purpose

United Table Tennis Players (UTTP) stands as the independent voice for professional players worldwide, promoting their rights and interests, and supporting the sustainable growth of table tennis.

We focus on

Advocating for the collective interests of players on a global scale

Promoting players’ well-being, both on and off the court, focusing on health, safety, and personal growth

Ensuring fair treatment in all aspects of players’ careers, including finances, working conditions, and participation rights

Encouraging transparency and accountability within the governance of the sport

Providing legal and career development support services

Promoting ethical and professional standards for all stakeholders

Engaging in dialogue with federations, sponsors, and public authorities to shape the sport’s future

Fostering unity among players across countries, genders, and levels of competition

Protecting players from abuse, discrimination, and exploitation through strong safeguarding measures

Advocating for players’ rights through legal and policy frameworks to ensure the integrity of the sport

Membership categories

These are the individuals who helped create the Association. They automatically become Ordinary Members unless otherwise stated in our rules.

Anyone who meets the Association’s membership criteria can join as an Ordinary Member. Ordinary Members have the right to vote at the General Assembly.

These members support the goals of the Association but don't have voting rights. After three months, they can become Ordinary Members and gain voting rights.

Only a professional player can become a member!
